I love the ambience and it’s a best place for a lunch or dinner date with a ocean view. I tried the chicken wings there were extremely tasty and crispy without buffalo sauce, the spices were a treat to the tongue. Not sure what the recipe would be . The steak was a good large portion and I personally loved my experience here. Would definitely recommend my friends to come and try.
Ocean Bar is a restaurant that I would regularly go to with my family! It's definitely an old favourite but I found the last few times I went that I wasn't too fond of the menu, that wasn't the case for my last trip! I am not sure if there is a new chef but the food just felt like it had been revamped, the taste, concept and appearance of all the dishes felt really fresh. I found it really difficult to actually choose what I wanted because everything sounded amazing but i ended up going for the Moroccan chicken skewers with cous cous salad for starters. It was the perfect size and full of flavour, I loved the mango chutney that was served with it. For mains I went for the grilled teriyaki salmon which was served with crispy polenta and chargrilled courgette, it was cooked perfect and I ate every single bit. We all shared one of the apple and rhubarb crumbles with custard and ice cream and it was lovely but not anything amazing.
The service in ocean bar is always amazing, the staff are really friendly and attentive and always make the effort to have a chat at the table. The location is ideal and the view at window tables as I great and they have outside seating which is lovely when the weather is nice. It's a good spot to have on a seafront that is full of restaurants manly focused on casual dinning.
Went here with my girlfriend for the last two valentines days, lovely spot for a three course meal. First year was amazing but was a but disappointed this year although still couldn't complain
